The Power to Go on Indefinitely…Resolve

This is from Thomas Merton’s No Man is an Island & without a doubt most befitting of the topic of having Resolve. We are made for an act that gathers up all the powers & capacities of our being & offers them simultaneously & forever to God.

Resolve is strong determination. Resolve is enduring through any situation. It is   uninterrupted faith, motivation, hard work.Everything that God created is self-sustaining & self-perpetuating-One From the Hart

Self-Perpetuating means to have the empowerment to continue on. It’s the ability to pursue Continuous Improvement the capability to carry on a process & the alertness to renew & reinvigorate yourself. The greatest temptation you will ever have in your life is to give up on what you truly want because it seemed too difficult to have-Sharon L. Adler

Some call having resolve: Backbone. The five components of putting to use the power of resolve….1. Clear presence of mind, heart, & God. 2. Your body is a positive trajectory which means you know what you want & you apply action to it. 3. Prayer, pray constantly 4. Seek new knowledge always. 5. Stay fit mentally, physically, have a healthy lifestyle.

Resolve means to come to a definite decision about something & settling it for good. It means to come to a conclusion so you can clear your head of clutter clear your heart of doubt, fear, cynicism, & skepticism. When resolve is absent, our abilities can not reveal itself, our heart can not manifest, our character can not emerge in strength, we limit our relationship with God-One From the Hart
